About Us
- Sabo’s retail operation is closed November through March. We begin production in the greenhouse in late February or early March. The Garden Center is open April through October. We provide a safe, creative work environment with flexible hours and positive attitudes.

About You
- Plant growing or design knowledge is a plus but not required; however willingness to learn and a positive attitude are required.
- Are you dependable, safety oriented, able to work well with a team as well as independently? Can you design a garden? Wholesale and/or retail sales experience?
- How is your mechanical aptitude – motors, heater, water works, vehicles?
- Being comfortable with heights? Not required, but a plus.
Here are jobs that some – but not all – members of our staff do:
- Planting, pruning, filling and tracking orders
- Operating fork lift and farm equipment
- Social media and web site maintenance
- Advertising – radio and print – start to finish
- Gardening programs and develop special events
- Create retail displays
- Design and create parade floats
- Create handouts, brochures and other business related literature
- Some aspects of the job includes physical labor and some weekend hours
- Everyone helps with plant care, watering, general maintenance and cleaning
